Defective ear

All of a sudden, Abilene's right ear is an "up," while her left has remained a "down."  Although goofy, it's pretty stinking cute.  :)

Sunriver Day 3: The River

On our last full day in Sunriver, we hit the river!  Even though we encountered a few snags, we all had lots of fun swimming, rowing, floating, and kayaking for 5+ hours.  Luckily, the only one overboard was me, and I was able to laugh with everyone else while I struggled to drag myself back into the raft.  :)

Sunriver Day 2: SHARC and The Village

Day 2 was our relaxing day...  lots of patio time, swimming, and fun in the Village!

Sunriver Day 1: Cowboy Dinner Tree

Happy Anniversary dinner to us!  For dinner, we went to the Cowboy Dinner Tree.  Here, we enjoyed a rustic, Western themed dinner in the middle of NOWHERE.  The salad, homemade soup and rolls, giant bakers, football-sized steaks, and whole chicken were all delicious, and we all left stuffed to the brim.  Definitely a place to visit at least once.

Sunriver Day 1: Fort Rock

Next on the agenda:  Fort Rock!  Instead of a big hole going down, it's a big rock formation going up.  :)  Again, it was fun to hike, climb, and explore.  The kids LOVED this, and challenged each other to be more and more daring.

After exploring, we checked out the local pioneer cemetery, and the Homestead Museum, which looked like a miniature western town.  The kids could have played there all day, but it was time to move on to our next stop...
