A sad, sad day in the life of our little blog has finally come...
Alongside the growth of social media over the past several years, the main purpose of this blog has morphed from a place to keep friends and family updated on the girls' growth and adventures, to more of a landing pad for our family photos and memories. I've also been using an online resource to upload and each year's events into a printed book, so that the girls will always have a tangible record of their childhood antics. You could say it's been my way to create a scrapbook of sorts. Unfortunately, these resources have recently stopped supporting this trend, which has left me with few options for continuing this tradition for the girls, and therefore very few reasons to continue the arduous process of updating the blog.
So, it is with a sense of sad sentimentality that I will stop posting our adventures here. It seems like 2016 has really stretched me and my ability to accept change, adapt, and move into new phases of life. Though this is a very small example, it feels again like I'm being forced to leave a little bit of the girls' childhoods behind, and the sentimental sap in me just can't help but feel a bit verklempt.
