Seaside

Last week, we were surprised to find our weekend COMPLETELY OPEN.  Really, truly...you have no idea how rare this is.  With the weather forecasted to be beautiful, we loaded up the truck and headed to the coast.  The girls had been asking to go to Seaside for some time now (we usually visit comparatively laid-back Cannon Beach), so we decided to give it a try.  They were so excited, they did cartwheels on the beach!!!  :)

We got in lots of digging, splashing, paddle boat riding, arcade gaming, carousel riding, and ice cream eating in before heading home COVERED in sand.  Ahhh...summer!  :)

 

Manzanita

Memories were made this week, as each of the girls got to spend a few days in Manzanita with Grandma and Grandpa.  Lots of sand, water, running with Bogey, and being spoiled to pieces...

For my mom's 60th birthday, my siblings and I  gifted her a photography session with the WHOLE family...quite an undertaking, I might add!  We ended up taking the photos at the Jenkins Estate, where Brian and I were married 14 years ago!  (Time flies!)  These are a few candid shots from our phones and personal cameras while the pro was working hard...
