Happy Belated Mother's Day!
This past Mother's Day, we gifted Denise a trip to wine country for an afternoon of tasting. Well, we finally made good on that promise, and had a lovely, albeit HOT afternoon!
Photography class
This summer, I am taking a photography class, from the same teacher Camryn took one from last summer. Mine has focused more on how to use my DSLR camera, and how to control the lighting, aperture, with a little bit on the artistic composition. It has been so fun to finally learn how to use my camera!

Zombies!
For Father's Day, we bought my dad an Escape Room adventure called "Trapped in a Room with a Zombie." This weekend, we finally got to take him, and boy was it an experience! We had 60 minutes to escape a locked room with a "zombie" (actor) chained inside with us. Every ten minutes, his chain got longer. It was intense, but super fun too, and we manged to escape with minimal casualties (unfortunately, the zombie infected Brian)... A totally different kind of fun!
Fishing
We had possibly the best evening of the whole summer last Friday night...
We headed to a local fishing pond, and Brian and the girls enjoyed some trout fishing. Camryn caught her first ever fish(!), and Brian caught one too (Aubrey talked too much and scared them off, I think...)
It was a warm evening, so once the girls had had their fill of fishing, we played in a nearby wading fountain before enjoying a yummy dinner on the patio of a local restaurant. We were enjoying being the warm evening so much, that we picked up Abi after dinner, and went to the girls' elementary school, where we played and threw the ball for the dog again and again and again.
It was quite simply, the perfect summer evening. :)

Bailey family reunion
It was so good to visit with the Bailey side of the family again, and see how much all the kids have grown!
