Mazatlan Day 3

On Day 3, it was the boys' turn to get away...  They hit the greens for some golf, while all the girls stayed close to the pool.  We swam, snorkled, and sunned, and even took Salsa lessons.  :)  When the boys returned, they joined us for more drinks, diving, dancing, and even some pottery painting poolside.  But by evening, we were just getting started...

 

Mazatlan Day 2

Day 2 was equally as beautiful, but we were so busy relaxing, and enjoying ourselves, that we didn't take as many photos! 

First thing in the morning, we hopped a shuttle to Emerald Bay, where Jenn, Denise, and I visited the spa for relaxing massages and body treatments.  It was simply amazing!  By far, the best massage I've ever had!  The guys took all the kids to the pool to swim, where we all met up later in the day. 

We enjoyed the flora (coconuts!) and fauna (iguanas, geese, peacocks, swans) around the grounds, before heading back to Pueblo Bonito for a delicious dinner at Cilantro.  :)

Mazatlan Day 1

After a full 12 hours of travel time, we arrived Tuesday afternoon, and pretty much ate, swam (as promised to the girls for good behavior), and went to bed.  We were beat.

The next morning though, everyone was raring to go out and enjoy the SUN!  We first went on our obligatory time share tour at the Emerald Bay property, and then returned to Pueblo Bonito for lots of pool time, and new hair do's for the girls!  We even got to visit the famed swim-up bar for smoothies, which the girls had been talking about for weeks...!  That evening, we all went to Angelo's Italian restaurant for Denise's 60th birthday.  What an amazing celebration!

Science Fair 2015

Both girls chose to participate in the Science Fair this year, each with a friend or two.  And in true Bailey family fashion, both experiments had something to do with FOOD. 

Aubrey and Jade set out to discover what the most common color of M&M is.  The answer?  BLUE!

 

  

  

Camryn, Mercedes and Emma decided to try and find out which brand of bubble gum blows the biggest bubbles.  What is it?  Drumroll please....EXTRA!  Nice job ladies!
