Mazatlan: Last Day

On our final morning, we walked out to the end of the jetty that we could see from our balcony, and took in the 360º view of the ocean and resort.

We then began our 12 hour journey home (the main bummer being a screaming 3 year old on our L.A. to PDX flight...)  We arrived in Portland by 10:15 p.m. and were home by 11:15, where the girls melted into their beds, braids, tans, and all...

Mazatlan Day 4

Day 4:  More pool.  More sun.  More good food.  More drinks.  Towel-folding lessons (I can now make a swan!), Bingo by the pool, and lots of splashing too.  By evening, Camryn *finally* lost her tooth that's been loose for weeks, and we speculated whether the Tooth Fairy would bring dollars or pesos.  (She brought both!)  ;)

Mazatlan Day 3- Evening

As the sun went down, we explored the beach in front of the resort, where the girls noticed that the water was much warmer than at home!  The waves were unseasonably strong though, so we held tight to one another as we jumped them, but couldn't really swim.  When we'd had our fill of wave-jumping and beach volleyball, we headed up to our rooms to get ready for our Mexican Fiesta!  We enjoyed amazing food, dancing, singing, and silly competitions (Makayla won a bottle of wine for Mimi!)  Afterwards, we were all so full and so pooped from a day of fun, that we went back to the rooms and crashed.
