Camryn has been spending a lot of time coloring, drawing, and writing lately, and her favorite picture to draw is a portrait of herself and her good friend, Grace. They are two peas in a pod, those two. They are nearly one year different in age (363 days, to be exact), but have very similar temperaments and senses of humor. They know how to push each other's buttons and make each other laugh equally as well. They are the only two girls on their basketball team, and together they handle the boys like nobody's business.
Both have little sisters, teacher moms, big opinions, a passion for dress up, and fiery personalities. Sometimes, in fact, the only way to tell them apart is their hair. Camryn's is stick straight, and Gracie's is nothing but curl, and they are adorable together.
I love that Gracie is such a very important person in Camryn's life, and I know Camryn does too, because it shows in her artwork. Somehow, she manages to capture both their friendship (and their hair) perfectly. :)
