Last week, Aubrey caught the world's worst cold, and officially became the grumpiest two year old on the planet (I keep reminding her that Santa is watching, but that bribe has long ago lost it's effectiveness.) To be fair, her cold then caused an ear infection, for which she's now on antibiotics, and the poor thing can barely breathe, let alone eat or sleep. All of which adds to the grumpiness factor, and perpetuates the cycle. You see where I'm going with this one...?
Even Aubrey recognizes the change in herself. She's been extra cuddly and clingy, and several times has said, "I so kanky!" (Translation: "I'm so cranky!") Brian and I just nod in agreement, but luckily she has a very patient big sister who is more than willing to share some extra cuddle time and watch some extra movies with her too. We just hope everyone is feeling well enough to enjoy Christmas...
