Softball Opening Day & first game of the season

Today was Opening Day! Since 1956, Tigard Little League has held a ceremony to begin the season, and this was our first time participating in it. Camryn is playing Single A softball this year with several of her friends (on team Dynamite) and is loving it!

Coach Julie and her "ducklings"...
Flag salute
Let's play ball!
Eight of the ten girls. All goofballs!

After Opening Day, it was time for Dynamite's first game. Camryn is #1, and is first to bat in the current line up.

Chatting with Coach Dad at third base. She got a run this inning!!!

Stretches in the outfield...?
The coaches pitch at this level. Julie is the head coach, and Dan and Brian are the assistants, which is of course as it should be. ;) Thanks Julie, for all of your hard work with our girls!
