The girls have really caught on to this "tradition" thing... Both woke up early on the 4th, raring to go, as if it was Christmas morning. They were SO excited for our long day of celebrating: Hillsboro parade in the morning, BBQ lunch and celebration of my birthday afterwards, then a neighborhood block party and fireworks that would go late into the night.
It was definitely a fun-filled, sugar-coated, play-til-you-drop kind of day!
