Ladybugs!

We ♥ our beautiful hanging baskets in the summertime,but recently we've experienced a bit of an aphid infestation. After a couple of tries to rid ourselves of them, we finally got ahold of an all-natural solution: ladybugs! For just $10 we got our hands on 1500 of the little crawlers!!!

So last night, we released them onto our affected plants, in the hopes that at least a few will stay and enjoy delicious aphid feast. The girls were ecstatic, and played with them all evening long. And when one flew away? No problem! There were still 1,499 more to chose from! Brilliant! :)

We just hope they're hungry enough to stick around for awhile, so that we can keep enjoying our beautiful flowers.
